the good hygienist.
I am Lyne Davel, owner of the good hygienist.
I completed my studies at TUKS in 2007 and have been parcticing eversince. I am absolutely in love with my career. In 2019 I was approved to practice independantly and the good hygienist was opened in August of 2019.
My goal is to spend induvidual time, deliver top quality services to each patient and have enough time to focus on maintaining the most healthy and effective home care for your smile.
Our Work
We, as dental hygienists can work in our own practices these days. We can help you with teeth cleanings, whitenings, sport mouthguards, bite plates, selecting the right kind of products for you to use, that will be effective and stop the damage that other products might worsen.

But, unfortunately my dear patient, everything we want, comes at a price. You can invest in 6 monthly cleanings at your good hygienist, or pay the very nice hundreds of ‘K’ one day, when that quality of life was suppose to arrive.

Now, all of these topics listed on this website is regardless of your age, because of two reasons;
1.) You didn’t know OR 2.) You are lying to yourself.
LISTEN TO ME NOW AND LISTEN GOOD.
If you have any sort of heart problems or a family history thereof, you HAVE TO see a very good hygienist to clean your teeth, the same goes for any type of implant, teeth, hips, shoulders etc....We don’t want bacteria to enter your bloodstream when you brush or floss your teeth, because this is the unfortunate outcome....HEART ATTACK or STROKE.
(Gasp)...Oh wow, thank you for asking...
It is as easy as going to you doctor, dentist or specialist to ask for a antibiotic prescription, because you are visiting your dental hygienist every 6 months. Believe me, if you will...your specialist, doctor or dentist will be so immensely impressed with you, because this reduces the risk of you getting infections in and around your implant.

We have so many products that is helpful or going to be helpful to you in the future. On your first thorough examination, we will go through on your techniques and see what efficient tools you need, to clean your mouth effectively.
We will be launching an online shop shortly, so that you can order your refills from home and get them delivered at home as well.
Teeth Whitening

In-chair whitening
This takes place in practice with constant supervision and guidance.
No need to use any home products after this procedure. (Sessions may vary depending on patient expectations.)

Home kits
We do have home whitening kits available. Very user friendly and effective. It can be used as a primary way to a white smile or as a add on after in-chair whitening.
